Yes, granted it would be incredible to just relax and let others care for your every need. But any true dominant, controlling person knows that in order to be in charge of your own life and world, as well that of other, it is necessary to make sure certain things are secured by the dominant. That means funds to cover bills and other necessities without relying solely on income from others that may end suddenly (via death, dismissal from service, injuries, etc.).
